The assignment is to find at lest one scripture for each word or phrase as it relates to the Law of Sin and the Law of Grace. You do not have to limit your scriptures
to the Epistle to the Galatians, although that would be a safe approach and will stay within the context of our study. For those who cannot make bible study on
Saturday, please download the table, apply you scriptures and email me your responses.

Peace and Blessings

Flow Chart From Law To Grace
Fall of Adam Unsaved Humanity LAW Grace Holy Spirit
Sin entered the world and death entered through sin. (Romans 5:12,13). Body was set to die. However, the sinful nature was alive and was unable to respond to sin (i.e. our conscience did not condemn us because there was no law to identify sin). Because God is just, sin was not imputed (Romans 5:13). The mind has a will to do wrong (Genesis 6:5). Our sinful nature became aware of sin and our conscience condemned us which produced guilt and doubt and defeat. (Romans 7:9). Although the law is good and holy, it could not produce life or salvation but was used to bring us to the end of ourselves and lead us to Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:24). By grace we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesian 2:8). We become a new creation (2 Cor 5:17). Our conscience no longer condemns us and we have a will to live for God (Hebrews 9:14). Our new nature no longer has a relationship with the law (Romans 7:6; Galatians 3:13). The mind has a will to do right (Romans 7: 21). However, our will power is not enough to live for God. The evil that is present is stronger than us. Empowers and enables us to live for God (Galatians 5:16,18).
